Regulatory and Quality Assurance

Regulatory and Quality Assurance

The core of our company's ethics and values has always been our quality assurance efforts and following prescribed government health and safety standards. We understand how manufacturing comes with complex government safety regulations and what we do and how we do it can impact the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment. We ensure that our products and services comply with stringent regulatory standards while being mindful of the environment.

Quality Assurance

INX Business Management System (BMS) and Total Productive Management (TPM) programs continually advance product quality.

As a quality leader in the printing industry, INX International facilities has committed to quality management systems that meet or exceed our customers’ requirements. INX was the first printing ink manufacturer in North America to achieve the ISO 14001 environmental certification and is now the first ink manufacturing company to achieve North America’s first Business Management System (BMS) certification by combining the three International Standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and Safety Standard: ISO 45001:2018.

INX Quality is a nonstop process that begins with defining processes and specific procedures to be followed at every step, from our selection of raw materials through production and delivery of inks to you. It comes full-circle via a Customer Report System that documents feedback, supplier questionnaires and ensures corrective actions be taken if needed, with steps to further verify their effectiveness.

Our Senior Management Quality Council monitors system effectiveness in all INX facilities. The INX Total Productive Management (TPM) systems and programs are at the core of our operations and continually advance product quality, environmental and sustainability initiatives. Education and Training within the entire INX Business Management System continues to be at the forefront of all our improvement programs and customer initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance

As a leader in regulatory and compliance issues, INX works closely with customers to "help them comply with the strict regulatory standards" required by brand owners.

Backed by a significant investment in research and development, INX places a priority in our procurement process and the selection of raw materials used to formulate our products. Our regulatory group is strategically based at our R&D center to ensure maximum collaboration in real time. All products are reviewed for compliance not only to global government regulations, but also to brand owner requirements, as well as the safety and well-being of both INX employees and user employees. INX Regulatory Affairs helps guide users through their regulatory needs, providing transparent regulatory reporting, and by working directly with customer labs for product disclosures needed for proper risk assessment.

INX stays abreast of current legislation and other regulatory intelligence by actively participating in industry trade groups, such as the National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers, the EU Printing Ink Association (EUPIA), the Food Safety Alliance for Packaging (FSAP), and by working directly with brand owners on behalf of our customers. We also work directly with governmental organizations, such as the FDA, and strive to exceed regulatory requirements set forth by various GMP protocols.
